Disappointment

God,

I am so disappointed. I had such high hopes only to have them dashed. Now I feel hurt and angry, and my faith is being sorely tested. I know it’s not Your fault, but why didn’t You do something?

Forgive me, Father. That line of thinking will only drag me down. I know that You are utterly trustworthy. Comfort my heart and use this situation to teach me and help me to grow. At least then something good will come from it. I know You love me, Father, and I put my trust in You.
